Katie and Michael are two truly incredible people. They lift up everyone around them. They lift each other up. Each is better because they have the other in their lives. It's hard to believe that their journey began 9 years ago.
Which brings us to just past Sunday. A beautiful celebration that was a perfect reflection of them as individuals and as a couple and as a family. Katie couldn’t have been a more stunning bride. Michael's excitement was luminous. And let's just take a second, how adorable is there 2 years old son Jude? They were both so laid back, and yet so excited. That’s my favorite thing about them. Even with all of the stress of a wedding day – especially one where it began to pour down rain outside – nothing could shake them. They were so excited and so chill all day. The best combination. Their ceremony was absolute perfect– it was so personalized and individualistic with their sweet romantic vows mixed in. The vineyard’s barn was covered in decor evoking all of the best vintage references from antique vases and lanterns, to they classic quotes on the card box, and of course, their adorable storybook cake toppers. You couldn’t ask for a better day to celebrate two of the best people around.
Congratulations again, Katie and Michael – it was truly an honor to be by your side.
This sweet couple is expecting their first child this summer. It was so sweet to see the genuine excitement in their eyes as they talked about welcoming her this summer. There is just something so special about capturing the anticipation and excitement of a new addition to the family. Lisa wore the cutest star symbol top for this maternity session to celebrate not only that they are a military family, but also that the baby has a due date around July 4th! We had such a great afternoon together during their maternity photography session, and I am now even more excited to meet their little one!
Let me start this by saying there are no words to accurately describe how adorable this family is...
We met yesterday at ever so lovely Cromwell Valley Park. It had been raining earlier that day so we really got lucky with the nice evening weather.
Hope you enjoy this beautiful spring family session; I had a very hard time to choose a few photos to include in this blog post! The whole gallery was awesome!
Whether it is a bride, family, high school senior, or a fellow photographer I love getting to know everyone’s unique story and develop friendships with every person I meet. Photographing and documenting people and love stories and life is not about perfection. It is about creating the images that matter. It’s about love, and laughter and scrunched up noses and hugs that linger.
My heart – and my camera – would be honored to document your story.
